A turntable for nostalgia. Prompted by the constant messages from my loving mother about how I should send her more photos, this centerpiece is a carousel for memories. The tree spins for a rotary viewing, and the leaves can be lifted off for a closer look.
A high intensity, three week project for my mechatronics course ME210. We were tasked to create a robot that would "tip the balance of the Force" by autonomously placing poker chips in five bucket scales in a Star Wars themed obstacle challenge. With a combination of DC motors, IR and ultrasound sensors, and servos, Derek followed line patterns, avoided obstacles, and dumped poker chips on his path to accomplishment!
